I am an accomplished economist with 16 years of experience as Chief Economist for institutional investment research firms / investment banks, an insightful market strategist, current equities trader and former bond trader (with over a decade of experience in the MBS markets), (mortgage-backed securities, particularly CMO’s – collateralized mortgage obligations) and then as Chief Economist and Market Strategist for Friedman, Billings, Ramsey & Co., Inc. (an Arlington, Virginia-based institutional brokerage / research / investment banking firm) and Height Capital Markets in Washington, D.C. He is currently semi-retired (though open to discussing interesting opportunities) and resides on his farm in the beautiful Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
